Here is a small portion of what Legacy Ministry is doing:
Abundant Life is a pot luck and program held on the second Thursday of each month at 11 AM.
Our travel ministry is mostly day trips, with a few over-night trips. Past trips have included: Frontier Texas Museum | Highland Lakes Camps | Magnolia Farms | Lost Maples State Park | San Antonio Day Trip.
We plan to have a bucket-list trip each year, starting in 2018. Watch for details about a trip to Alaska in 2018 and New England in 2019.
Fitness & Recreation
Fittness and Recreation activities to be offered are: Excersise | Target Shooting | Kayaking.
Life Skills that we have learned and are willing to share are: Preventing I.D. Theft and Banking Scams | Health Fair | Microsoft Windows 10 | Smart Phone | Photography | Beginning Guitar.
Worship & Bible Study
There are many available opportunities to study the Bible provided by First Baptist Church.
Mentoring of Youth in our FBC Student Ministry will take advantage of our life experiences and wisdom. All activities are being coordinated with our Youth Pastor.
Service Projects we can do are: Home Maintenance for those in need | Texas Ramps Project (building wheelchair ramps in homes) | Light maintenance at the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center.
Hobbies and Interests
Hobbies and Interests that have been shared in classes include: Wreath making | Holiday Cooking | Gardening | Quilting.
