GriefShare is a place to learn how to walk the journey of grief and be supported along the way. It is a place for hurting people to find healing and hope. If you have lost a loved one, GriefShare is the place for you.
Your GriefShare group will be led by people who know what you are going through. They will help you clarify your thoughts on what is happening to you. You will learn how to communicate to others what you do and don’t need from them. By viewing a video seminar and through group discussion, you will learn to grieve in a way that leads toward healing. You can journey from mourning to joy.
You are probably uncomfortable as you think about attending your first DivorceCare session. You may not like the your life circumstances. You may also feel hurt or angry. Those feelings are normal. But after a few sessions, you will look forward to the helpful time and people who understand what you are going through. You will hear concepts that can help you heal from separation and divorce.
We are sorry for the circumstances that bring you to DivorceCare. But we are glad we can be here to help.
Help your children heal from the pain of divorce.
Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? A DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Groups meet in tandem with DivorceCare and are designed for children ages 5-12.
Financial Peace University
We all want to know that we are doing things the correct way. When it comes to money, there are many options. Financial Peace University is based on the Bible. And you can be confident that God’s way works! More than 2 million families and individuals have applied God’s wisdom to their finances and changed their life stories. They lived like no one else to get there; and now they are able to live and give like no one else! You can do it too.
Biblical Counseling Ministry
Paul tells us that we are to counsel one another. When you think about it, we all counsel family and friends from time to time. The Biblical counseling ministry offers training to learn how the Word of God can be effectively used to counsel yourself and others in these troubled times.
Counseling/Discipleship training classes offered at the church will feature professional video training and video observation sessions on DVD.
After training, these Biblical Counselors are available to meet privately with anyone who is looking for answers to the problems in their life.
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving our life’s problems.
By working through the principles, we grow spiritually, and we are free from our hurts, hang-ups and habits. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others and our personal loving and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ.
Celebrate Recovery meets Wednesdays 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 700 Gateway Pkwy in Marble Falls.
