Missions Month: November 2018
The Missions Ministry of First Baptist Church Marble Falls will be hosting an exciting Missions Fair on Sunday, November 4th. The initiative is entitled “Love Your Neighbor” and will involve hundreds of volunteers from the Highland Lakes area.
FBCMF will be partnering with other local churches and organizations in an effort to inform the community about the numerous ministries available in our area and to invite others to become involved in areas of service that use their talents and gifts to help meet the needs of others.
The Missions Fair will include a free lunch catered by Opie’s Barbeque that will be provided in FBCMF’s church parking lot from 11:00am – 2:00pm. The numerous planned exhibits will provide information on a variety of ministries including: services and ministries available in the Highland Lakes area, local ministries related to flood recovery, and various other ways to “Love Your Neighbor” across America and around the world. There will also be an opportunity to help pack 20,000 meals for Feeding Children Everywhere. Anyone interested in packing meals can reserve a timeslot here.
FBCMF is inviting the community and especially those affected by the recent floods to come worship and learn how they can get assistance. Services are at either 9:00am or 10:30am. Members of other churches are welcome to come after their own services, enjoy lunch and explore the fair. Come enjoy an amazing day of love, hope, and unity as the entire community comes together in an effort to discover new and exciting ways to “Love Your Neighbor.”
